Scripture: John 6:16–21, Mark 6:45–52, Psalm 77, Matthew 14:22, Matthew 14:28–31
The disciples are being tossed around on the waves when they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, they were afraid! Jesus tells them "do not be afraid".
Three things to remember:
- Storms come to everyone!
- Storms are disorienting - where is God?
- The storm reveals who Jesus is.
