Jody Cates, Director of Counseling Jody joined the Seacoast staff in December of 2025 and lives in Carlsbad. When she’s not counseling or chasing grandkids (3 so far, and counting), she’s hiking Torrey Pines, planning her next trip, or reading too many books at once. Her favorites include Boundaries, Sacred Rhythms, and anything by Henri Nouwen. Jody’s favorite scripture (and only tattoo) is Romans 14:19, and her taste in music would be called eclectic by some and questionable by others—mostly anything she knows all the words to so she can sing along. |
