Modern Exiles - 1 Peter 1:3-12 |The Chaos of Exile
September 22, 2024 Pastor: Steve Osborn Series: Modern Exiles - 1 Peter
Scripture: 1 Peter 1:3–12
This passage speaks of the assurance of our salvation and the eternal security of Christ's redeeming work in our lives. This is a hope in the future and ultimate work of God in His redemptive history, but it is also a "living hope" that shapes our lives each day. This salvation is the result of God's work from the beginning and can be seen in them law and the prophets. The Takeaway: When we face trials or simply experience the pain of a broken world, we have a confidence and peace that affects all aspects of our living. Standing on the assurance of our salvation and confidence in God's work is the foundation for our worldview.
